Came back from a camping trip and my laptop has a black screen with a blue bar that says "enter administrator password or power on password", what do I do?? Is there a code to bypass it??

Hi:

 

Enter any password 3 times and the PC should generate a system disabled (halt) code.

 

Write down the code you get from the PC and enter it in the box at the link below and the site will generate an unlock passcode.

 

https://bios-pw.org/

 

Restart the PC and enter that passcode to regain access to the PC.

 

Note:  This will only work if your model PC generates an all numeric system disabled code.

On some models you can generate a Halt code by entering wrong password  3 times- or simply leaving blank and tapping Enter 3 times.Post that generated code here.

My code has an "i" at the beginning and said to contact HP. I did and they put me on hold for an hour.
