Hi @ergene,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP computer won’t boot and you suspect a BIOS issue, don’t worry—we’ve got your back. You can use another working computer and a USB flash drive to create a BIOS recovery tool. Here’s how:
Step-by-Step Instructions
🔍 1. Find Your Product Info
On the non-working PC, look for a label on the bottom, under the battery, or on the box. You’ll need the Product Name or Serial Number.
2. Go to the HP BIOS Recovery Page
On the working computer, visit:
👉 HP BIOS Recovery Support Page
3. Download the BIOS File
- Enter your product name or serial number.
- Select your operating system (e.g., Windows 10 64-bit).
- Under the BIOS section, download the latest version available.
4. Run the BIOS Update File
- Double-click the .exe file you downloaded.
- When prompted, choose Create Recovery USB Flash Drive.
- Insert your USB drive and follow the on-screen instructions.
⚠️ Make sure the USB drive is empty or backed up—this process will erase it.
5. Safely Remove the USB Drive
Once the tool confirms the recovery drive is ready, eject the USB safely.
Next: Using the Recovery Drive on Your HP PC
- Insert the USB into the non-working HP computer.
- Press and hold the Windows + B keys, then press and hold the Power button for 2–3 seconds.
- Release the Power button but keep holding Windows + B until you see the BIOS recovery screen.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to restore the BIOS.
