Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using hp notebook 15g-dr0006tx for the past 6months running window 10(17134.619). I regularly check for updates but I only get cumulative updates of 1803 update. it has been already a month since you have announced the phased roll out of 1809 update. Can you say regarding when  will I get the 1809 update. I am living in Chennai, india.

I haven't been offered 1809 on one Windows 10 machine but have on another. Microsoft is the one who determines when you get it -not HP.

Hi

We didn't really announce the Launch, but perhaps your PC is not compatible or you have insufficient bandwidth for a large download or something is blocking it.

However....

Create Windows 10 installation media

To get started, you will first need to have a license to install Windows 10. You can then download and run the media creation tool. For more information on how to use the tool, see the instructions below.

MAKE CERTAIN you have backups and recovery media to hand.

Hi, @sriniwonwon

Actually, all you need to do is to click on the blue Update Now button on the W10 media creation tool link that  Lil_Boy_Blue posted.

Only one of my PC's got the 1809 update from Windows update and I have a second model of the same PC that never got the update.

I used the Update Now method to install v1809 on all of my remaining PC's that hadn't gotten the update yet.

The update worked just fine on all of them.

what is the other one that has received the update? an hp?

Mine are all HP's.

The 2 same models were HP 8200 Elite CMT business desktop PC (made around 2011), and HP doesn't even support that model for W10 at all.

One got the automatic update from Windows and I used the Update Now method from the Microsoft link to update the other one, as well as my other HP business-class notebook and desktop PC's.

True.

But my paranoia doesn't trust MS that much Paul ;~))
