@mokshikaa, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It sounds like you're getting an electric shock when charging your laptop. Here's what I suggest:

Check your house grounding: Poor grounding in your electrical system can cause electric shocks. Ensure your outlets are properly grounded.

Avoid using an electric spike or extender: Sometimes, power strips or extenders can cause issues with the current. Try plugging the charger directly into the wall socket to see if the problem persists.

If the issue continues: If you're still experiencing the shock after trying the steps above, it's a good idea to stop using it and take the laptop to a service center. There may be an internal issue with the charging port or the power adapter.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
