i have 4gb ram in my laptop and my ram shows already used 2.4 gb without installing any application and also system performance is very low.

You are apparently unaware that at any time, Windows is running dozens of tasks in the background -- and all of those use system memory to function.  So, there is always going to be some memory in use even when you are not running any applications.
