Dear HP Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to seek your assistance regarding an issue I am currently facing with my HP PC. I have been trying to reset my system, but I am encountering difficulties during the process. Despite several attempts, the reset does not complete successfully, and I am unsure how to proceed further.

Here are the basic details of my system:

  • Model: [hp laptop 15-fd0*****]

  • Serial Number: [5CD349HJNC]

  • Operating System: [Windows 11 Home]

  • Issue Description: [there was a problrm resetting your pc. No changes were made]

I would appreciate it if you could guide me through the proper steps or provide any troubleshooting support to resolve this issue. If a remote session or service center visit is required, kindly advise accordingly.

Hi:

 

This is a peer to peer forum.  We do not work for or represent HP.

 

If you have not done so already, what I suggest you do is this:

 

Your notebook is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that came with your notebook.

 

Here is an info link for how to use the utility. 

 

You will need another Windows PC if your PC is not working, and a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store:

 

HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store

 

If you have to use the software on another PC, you will need to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

 

Your notebook's product number is 7P703PA#ACJ
