Hello,

i have a new SSD hard drive 250 GB i need to install windows from recovery partition on 2nd hard (1TB) to my new ssd to boot from , how can i do that

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Community !

 

As advised by @banhien on your previous thread , you can use the Microsoft tool to perform fresh clean installation.

You cannot move the recovery partition from one drive to another.

 

You can use the HP Cloud Recovery solution to build Windows installation media and install Windows with HP image on it >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06162205

but only if HP Cloud Recovery supports it.

 

Alternatively, follow the steps in the attached PDF file (below) to use Microsoft tool to create installation media.
