I have this laptop with win10 pro. since the day I got it, It have blue screen very often (ps: video tdr failure, failed operation is atikmpag.sys). I have tried to change the OS to many version of win 10 and change the graphic card drive but it turn out the same. If I run small games it will 100% crash with the same error. I have enough for this and want to change the os to a Linux. However, when you try to use a live cd to install a Linux, it can pop out the boot message but keep black screen and can't access the live cd mode Linux. Is it any problem with the hardware? can I have It replaced?

I'm sorry, but we here are not equipped to provide detailed Linux support.
HP only warranties their PCs for usage with the OS that comes preinstalled. IF you replace that with Linux, or add a Linux OS, then you assume full responsibility for maintaining that -- as HP provides Linux assistance only on Redhat and then only to commercial customers.
The primary "challenge" to using Linux on any HP PC is the availability of Linux drivers. Any hardware that does not work will then range from simple (if there are Linux drivers available) to impossible (if there are NO Linux drivers available) to fix.
Since HP does not provide Linux drivers, your best bet for Linux support is to contact the support forum for the Linux distro you are using.

Hi, It's not the problem of the Linux drivers. First of all, I am using a windows 10 as preinstall, and it's not stable. in fact, it's quite unstable.... and for the Linux problem, I don't think it's the matter of the drivers as I even can't login the live cd system....And it disappoint me a lot that there little option in the Bois....I even can't change the mode of the disk drive
It will be very nice of you if you can provide the preinstall os mirror so that I can have another try. Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Edwin

If what you're asking for is a download link for the preinstalled OS Win10 -- sorry, HP does not provide such downloads.
If you want that, you have to purchase HP Recovery Media -- and that comes in USB stick form.

What I am asking is solution of the laptop blue screen or crash. It happen a lot even when I did nothing. 100% happen when I play any games. Again, I have replace with many version of windows 10 and graphic card drivers (from HP official and AMD official). It remain the same. error message is video tdr failure, failed operation: atikmpag.sys. Is it anything I can do to solve it? Is it a hardware issue? Thanks in advance.
