okay so I've tried all the bs across the stupid internet. and I've tried the stupid hp ai assistant. and I've been all over this stupid hp website, and its obvious they don't want to help with their trash product. I've reset this entire thing at least 3 times by now. I'm getting really tired of hp really fast. I can tell you I'll never be purchasing this brand in my entire life, after how much I've dealt with just with this laptop. I've seen the same problem repeated across the internet 900 times. so I know hp knows of their issue. but they are too focused on bloatware to do anything about it. so I cant download any apps from the WINDOWS store. and before you go and repeat all the dumb bs I've already read. let me tell you, I've already downloaded things via opera browser. and installed them. but anything with Microsoft isn't working. I've ran all the commands, I've done pretty much everything that can be found across the stupid internet. so if you show up repeating that bs, I'm going to effing lose it at this point. I've never had so much trouble out of a laptop more than I have had an hp. at this point I'm convinced they are as good as garbage. you can get a way cheap laptop that works 900 times better. I know for a fact because I've done it. I've got 2 hp laptops right now, that I'm trying to fix for friends. and suddenly I've never hated a laptop company so much in my life. how the hell do you fix this garbage thing? and tell me a method that actually does something. because I've already tried what the first 5 responses will be. so skip all of those suggestions. I'm not at fault if i cuss you out over it... skip to the end. the step you cant find searching the internet, that actually fixes this trash.

- open windows settings
- In Windows settings, go to System > System components, scroll down until you find Microsoft Store. After finding it, click the three dots on the right, then select 'Advanced option'. Scroll down, click the repair button, then restart the laptop.
- If after restarting the Microsoft Store is still not working normally, under the repair button, there is a reset button. After clicking the reset button, restart the laptop again.
I have also experienced the problem you are experiencing.
