My current HDD is failing. I can easily replace with new HDD. Mice ate most of my computer related paperwork, including receipts for Windows 10 Pro that I purchased when it first came out. I have update to the most current version. How can I install the version of Windows that I currently have on my laptop without the codes? I will have the same issues with some of my software, but I am most concerned with the OS

Replacing HDD won't effect Windows 10 license because the license key is embedded in BIOS of your machine. I should activate automatically by itself.
You can use the following tool to get the key if you wish:
