@vijay2132, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It appears that your Windows 11 laptop is experiencing an issue with updates getting stuck during startup. This is a common problem that can occur when Windows updates are not completing properly. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Quick Fixes
Be patient and wait: Sometimes updates can take longer than expected. If possible, leave your laptop running for 1-2 hours to see if it completes the update.

Force restart: If waiting doesn't work, try forcing a restart by holding down the power button for about 10 seconds.

Troubleshooting Steps

If the quick fixes don't work, try these more advanced troubleshooting steps:

1. Run Windows Update Troubleshooter:

  • Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters
  • Find "Windows Update" and click "Run"

2. Clear the SoftwareDistribution folder:

  • Open Command Prompt as administrator
  • Type the following commands:
    net stop wuauserv
    net stop bits
  • Delete all contents in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
  • Restart the services with:
    net start wuauserv
    net start bits
  • Reboot your laptop

3. Check and repair system files:

  • Open Command Prompt as administrator
  • Run the following commands:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    sfc /scannow

  • Restart your laptop6

4. Uninstall recent updates:

  • If the problem started after a recent update, try uninstalling it
  • Go to Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates
  • Select the most recent update and uninstall it

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
