@Taneisha30, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your laptop is experiencing issues due to water exposure and the power light is blinking white, it's crucial to take immediate and appropriate steps to prevent further damage. Here are some general troubleshooting tips:

Power Off and Disconnect: Immediately power off the laptop and disconnect all peripherals and the power adapter. Do not attempt to power it on again until you're sure it's dry.

Remove the Battery: If possible, remove the battery from the laptop. This can help prevent electrical shorts.

Dry the Laptop: Carefully wipe any visible moisture on the surface with a dry cloth. You can use absorbent materials like a paper towel to gently dab away any water.

Allow Time to Air Dry: Place the laptop in a well-ventilated area and let it dry naturally for at least 24 hours. You might want to place it in an inverted position (keyboard facing down) to facilitate drying.

Do Not Use Heat: Avoid using a hairdryer or any other heat source to dry the laptop, as excessive heat can further damage internal components.
