Bought this Chromebook specifically due to it being Linux apps ready. Can't figure out how to get beyond CLI. any help would be appreciated.

Were you able to get this working Jacktv1950?
I'm looking at the same Chromebook. Unfortunately, the demo model at the store is so locked down I cannot tell if that feature is available.
Thanks!

I'm relatively new to the Chromebook arena.
Could someone walk me through (or point me to a resource that provides) a step-by-step on how to enable Linux (Crostini?) on the HP Chromebook x360 14"?
[I've tried this with a couple other machines and I've had no success. The option to enable Linux (beta) under settings never appears.]
