I changed my password for Google Chrome yesterday 06/23/2020. After I changed the password it asked for my old password to save my local data i went through that process. Today after I had been on the computer this morning it asks me again for my previous password, I typed it in and it kept telling me that wasn't the old password. So I was forced to enter to go on without the password losing all my local data, my question is; can I recover that local data that was lost?

These forums are very Windows-centric.

I suggest asking at Chromebook forum.
