Hello, I am looking for a replacement SSD for my Pavilion 13-an0006na. Could you advise whether there are particular types of SSDs that this device is or isnt compatible with?

Hi:
The product specs for your notebook indicate that it comes with a 256 GB M.2 NVMe SSD.
HP Pavilion 13-an0006na Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
You should be able to replace the original M.2 NVMe SSD with any brand NVMe SSD that you want.
You can even install one having a greater storage capacity if you want.
Below is the link to the service manual. Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.
Suggested replacements: Samsung 980 (not 980 Pro), Western Digital Blue SN570.
You should be able to find either of those on Amazon.UK.
