Urgent help need.

Why we can't be able to install windows 10 2004 from usb drive?

One of my friends having the hp laptop. It comes with hdd. He try to boot windows 10 2004 with his pendrive. But once he press the F9 key after the bios, the boot option doesn't appear. This boot option isn't appering for ssd drive and m.2 drive.

But when he connect the hdd then the boot options are appering in F9 boot menu.  (  He's going to reinstall the windows 10 on m.2 drive not for hdd )

Please anyone guide us to install windows 10 on ssd or m.2 drive with pendrive through F9 boot menu.

Hi,

If you remove the hard drive and install only the M2 SSD (clean or new SSD) and then insert the USB drive and power on the notebook. The notebook should boot directly to the pendrive as it will be the only bootable device. (without pressing F9)

What CPU does your model have?

Let me know,

David

When we try to install fresh windows 10 2004.

We download windows 10 2004 (link given by microsoft customer service centrr) and create the bootable device with Rufus (latest version ).

Bootable files are sucessfully created with Rufus software.
