startup hard disk error

every time i try and open up my laptop it comes up with the following message: 

if i try to continue start up nothing happens and it takes me to a  black screen.

Hi:

That notice means the hard drive is about to fail or has failed, needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.

Consult the service manual for your specific model notebook for the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
