I am experiencing this same issue. Unfortunately i am now stuck in aloop after pressing F11 and using the Hp recovery options. It just won't recover properly. It just keeps saying installing software, until it stops and says recovery was not successful. You try to resume to the normal windows 10 desktop and the loop begins. Any ideas?

Thanks

My suggestion: use one of the following tool

You have 2 options

   1. Please use Cloud Recovery tool

            https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06162205

   2. Or use the following tool

           https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Machine will activate Windows 10 when you come online using its product key which is embedded in BIOS of your machine.

Regards.
