@ricky3699, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Touchpad Enable/Disable Setting

Sometimes the touchpad gets disabled.

Settings Menu:

Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad and ensure it's enabled.

If you don’t see "Touchpad" listed at all, the system might not be detecting the hardware.

Device Manager – Show Hidden Devices

Make sure the touchpad is listed in Device Manager:

Press Win + X > select Device Manager.

Expand Human Interface Devices and Mice and other pointing devices.

Click View > Show hidden devices.

If the touchpad (sometimes listed as “HID-compliant touchpad” or under "Synaptics/ELAN/Precision") shows up:

Right-click and try Update driver or Enable if disabled.

Install HP Drivers Manually

Go to HP’s official support page:
Official HP® Drivers and Software Download | HP® Support

Enter your product name: HP Victus 15-fa0000s a newer version than currently installed)

Windows Troubleshooter

Try running the troubleshooter:

Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters

Run the Keyboard or Hardware and Devices troubleshooter

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
