hi i have tried to download and install updates but same one keeps failing , it is Intel serial 10 driver, i have tried 3 times now but no joy...can you help?

What kind of update is this? If this is a Windows Update, which one? And if so, have you checked the Windows Update history to look at the error codes?

Its an update actually in the hp support assistant that it says is available..

Sorry, but that's an unfortunate situation as Support Assistant has been shown to have those issues and there is no available fix for that.
