Hi:

Your notebook can support up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.

HP - Compaq HP 15-ac184tu | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial IN

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that only 2 x 4 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory is supported, but I believe that is incorrect.

HP Notebook PC (Intel)HP 250 G4 Notebook PCHP 256 G4 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

You can do this to confirm how much memory your notebook can support:

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

I'm pretty sure you will find that it supports 2 x 8 GB of memory.

Sir can I use Samsung ram in my laptop. does it will support

Unfortunately, that I would not know.

You would need to buy Samsung memory that would be compatible with your notebook, and I have no idea what that would be.

The only reason I gave you the link to the Crucial memory is that they indicated it was compatible.

can i change my laptop hardware to make capable for windows 11

HP Recommended

Unfortunately, that would not be possible because HP did not offer any motherboards with Intel 8th generation core processors for your notebook's model series.

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2.

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.
