upgrade HP630 processor to 3rd gen processor it has HM65 chipset

Is it possible to upgrade HP 630 which has intel Pentium dual core B960 to intel core i5 3rd gen processor. The laptop has intel chipset HM65 and it has socket G2 or pga988b socket. Can I upgrade to say intel core i5 3610e

Even though it is indeed true that the HM65 express chipset on your HP 630 Notebook PC is compatible with (some) 3rd gen Intel processors, see: https://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-Intel_(chipsets)/HM65_Express.html -with this caveat, though:

Actually I don't know if it's G8 or G9 but I doubt that it such classification since it's a Hp 630 which was manufactured about 11yrs ago may be 2011.

That is correct, but the best performing processor known to be compatible with your HP 630 would be the i7-2630QM (2.20 GHz up to 2.90 GHz, 4 Cores, 8 Threads).

So there is totally no other way of being able to upgrade using a 3rd gen processor, if anyone has tried please pitch in some advice

Unfortunately, there's not...  I have an HP ProBook 6560b (Hewlett-Packard 1619 motherboard) which happens to have the same Intel HM65 Express Chipset, and I upgraded it a few years back with an i7-2720QM.  The fastest processor this laptop is known to be compatible with is an i7-2860QM, which I didn't buy at the time because I found an i7-2720QM very inexpensively on eBay.

These 2nd gen Intel mobile processors -in my opinion, still hold up well for most non-gaming desktop usage.

And it is likely - though not certain! - that the i7-2860QM may also be compatible with your notebook.

Incidentally, there is not a whole lot of performance differences between the 4-Cores, 8-Threads i7-2860QM and the 3rd gen 2-Cores, 4-Threads i5-3610ME -if the latter was compatible with your laptop, which it is not: Intel Core i7-2860QM vs Intel Core i5-3610ME - Comparison in 1 Benchmarks (cmptek.com)
