You didn't tell us which specific model this is, but some of these came out in 2011 -- and with something that old, the likelyhood of successfully upgrading to Win10 is slim.

 

When Win10 first came out, and MS was pushing it on folks, lots of Win7 PCs upgraded without issues -- but over the years, as MS has rebuilt Win10 twice a year since, fewer and fewer work -- and with the current version, very few work.

 

You don't have to get into the BIOS to do an update, in fact, to retain any of the current working drivers, you should insert the media while still in Windows, right-click on the folder then showing the media, select setup.exe and Run as Administrator.  This will launch an in-place Upgrade which would take a couple of hours or so.
