Product: HP ENVY All-in-One - 27-b105na

I have an HP ENVY 27 p014 with i5-7400T 2.4 Ghz. This CPU is not WIN11 suitable. Which I5 (or i7?) can I put on the existing socket that can be upgraded to WIN11?

Hi:

 

The processor upgrade information on your PC's product specs page does not support any processors that meet Microsoft's minimum W11 processor requirements of having at least an 8th generation or newer core processor.

Neither does the other PC model you posted.

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2.

 

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.
