I have laptop model" hp15 -ac042tu ". I want to upgrade for ssd but dont know which type ssd will be compatible with my laptop.

 

Please help me regarding this.

Hi:

 

Your notebook can only support a 2.5" SATA SSD, so you will have to remove the 2.5" mechanical hard drive and replace it with a 2.5" SSD.

 

Your notebook supports 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the memory and hard drive removal and replacement procedures.
