I can't see the CD in Windows Edge.

You are not making it any easier 🙂 Well, for CD, do you mean compact disc >> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compact_disc

In order to play or open it, you need either:

- file explorer (like Windows Explorer) to browse the CD conent

or

- music player/video player to run the content of the CD (if it is an audio CD/video CD) - here is how >> https://www.wikihow.com/Play-a-CD-on-a-Desktop-Computer

You typed/wrote "Edge" - EDGE is a web-browser - Microsoft browser in Windows 10 and for some smartphones, and it is used to open websites, not to browse CDs/DVDs, etc...

If you mean CD = Compact Disc - have you tried using it on another PC ? What kind of CD is this and where you got it from ?

So far this looks unreleated to your audio test results

Hello @gilper

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.

Most likely the code is incorrect. Would you please double check if you typed it correctly ?

What kind of issues you experience with your PC - is it only something with the CD/DVD player ?

The failure code is QBSDBF-6T38T5-MFPWWK-21XQ03. What does it mean and what should I do?

Thank you for the provided information. I checked it and I can see this was part of an Audio test which includes Audio Board, Audio Card, Audio Jack, Earphone, Headset, Microphone, Receiver, Speakers.

It has failed. Audio Failure (unspecified) meaning that one of these audio components is not functioning.

What kind of issues you experience with your PC ? Is it with the audio component(s) ?

The code also tells me you have HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-n047cl and its warranty has expired back in 2014 may be.

Suddenly, I can't hear, rip or burn cds.

This shouldn't be related to the test.

What do you mean by "I can't hear (...) cds" ? What happens when you insert a CD ? Can you browse its content by opening MyComputer/Windows Explorer ? Do you see it there ?
