Hello. a half year ago i purchased notebook with Windows on board in computer store. But a couple months ago it broke. In official service center have been replaced motherboard, after that my windows unable validate for obtain updates and when booting up get message "Product information not valid....". Please Help.

Hello @evgeniusx,

 

 

This is a branding issue. Usually occurs when the system board is being replaced and serial number was not entered, or was entered incorrectly .

 

There is a specific tool which is used to commit and lock the system board once replaced 

 

  • Changing and committing information at this level requires the system to be unlocked for reprogramming with a digitally signed System Management Command (SMC) file.  
  • This is unique to each system UUID, and is generated at the time of need by HP Service
  •  Without that file, the information can't be reprogrammed and not publicly available.

 Request you to contact HP support in your country and arrange for Service again ,depending on your unit warranty and service regulations , this will be resolved by rebranding the machine.
