@Prachipuri, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're experiencing intermittent boot issues, system hangs, and display/navigation pane problems on your HP laptop. Let's work through this step-by-step to identify and resolve the issue.

Issue Summary

  • "Boot Device Not Found" error appears multiple times.
  • Laptop hangs during startup.
  • Hardware scan shows "No Operating System" or hardware issues.
  • Navigation pane is partially visible or not working.

These symptoms suggest a potential hard drive failure, corrupted OS, or graphics/display driver issue. Here's how to proceed:

Perform a Full HP Hardware Diagnostic

  1. Turn off the laptop.
  2. Turn it back on and immediately press Esc repeatedly, then F2 to enter HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
  3. Select System Tests > Extensive Test and run a full scan.

Check BIOS Settings

  1. Restart the laptop and press Esc, then F10 to enter BIOS.
  2. Go to System Configuration > Boot Options.
  3. Ensure the hard drive is listed as the first boot device.
  4. Press F9 to load defaults, then F10 to save and exit.

Attempt OS Repair (if drive passes diagnostics)

If the hard drive is healthy but the OS is not loading:

Create a Windows 10/11 recovery USB using another PC:

Boot from the USB:

  • Insert the USB.
  • Turn on the laptop and press Esc, then F9 to select the USB drive.
  • Choose Repair your computer > Troubleshoot > Startup Repair.

Fix Navigation Pane Display Issue

Once the system boots:

  1. Update your graphics drivers via Device Manager.
  2. Run Windows Update to ensure all system files are current.
  3. If the issue persists, try creating a new user profile to check if it's a user-specific glitch.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
