@Srb1973, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your battery is not charging or showing up in the system for your HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 with Windows 11, here are steps you can take to troubleshoot and possibly resolve the issue:

Check Battery and Connections:

  • Ensure the battery is properly seated in its compartment.
  • Check all power connections and ensure the power adapter is properly connected to the laptop and the power outlet.

Update System BIOS:

Recharge Fully:

  • Charge the computer for at least three hours or until the battery status reaches 100% if possible.

Check for Windows and Driver Updates:

  • Ensure your Windows operating system is up to date.
  • Update your drivers using the HP Support Assistant.

Test with Another Power Adapter:

  • If you have access to another compatible power adapter, test to see if the issue persists.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
