HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0007nl

hi all, following an SSD replacement, with image restoration and various Windows 10 Home updates, the system tells me that the license is expiring. But the laptop had its license, I just can't find the Windows CD key, what can I do?

Hi:

The Windows product key is encrypted in your notebook's BIOS.

Download and install the free Showkey Plus app from the Micrsoft Store and it will show you the Windows 10 OEM product key and the version of W10 the key is good for.

ShowKeyPlus - Microsoft Apps

There should also be an 'Installed key' line in the report.

If the installed key is different from the OEM key, change the installed key to the OEM key in the PC settings menu and you should be able to activate W10 that way.
