Product: HP Pavilion 11-n083sa x360 PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So there was a windows 10 update, after which my 2 in one no longer has a tablet mode, no touchscreen drivers, not even inder view hidden drivers, and i had to turn off screen flip just to get the screen to work normally.

 

I have downloaded5 driver updaters including a paid app from the microsoft store, i've downloaded the hp support assistant and it found no errors at all. I'm newly returned to computers after a decade gap and i have a mental illness called memory aphasia, when i sleep my memory of the day is mostly erased, so i'm a complete noob now and i'm out of ideas, my only alternatives i can see is take it to a repair store, which i cant afford to do for 11 days, or try a full system purge and reinstall, i've only had the laptop a week and i bought it from ebay so i have no warrenty.

 

i use a game that's only available on windows and i have no other windows devices, i cant use the game without the touchscreen, i'm ranked one on the entire server but cant afford to spend even a few days away from the game!

 

why cant microsoft release a fix for this problem?
