windows for elite 8300

I want to install windows 11 in a hp Elite 8300 laptop. But I can't because it does not meet the requirements:

- Secure boot (in BIOS)

- TPM v2.0 (it has v1.2)

- Processor (I5 serie 3)

I would like to know if there is a version of Windows 11 that I can install without meeting the above requirements.

Hi:

Since your notebook does not have an Intel 8th generation core processor, it does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 processor requirements.

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2/22H3.

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.

One of the PC's I've been running W11 on for 3 years now is an HP 8200 Elite CMT.

Windows works fine with no problem.

When W11 24H2 comes out, things have changed a bit, so watch this video for how to update your W11 23H2 installation to 24H2.

You might even be able to use this video to upgrade from W10 to 23H2.
