windows hello fingerprint issue

i want to configure fingerprint lock but windows hello doesnt did it

Your computer might -- or might not - have a fingerprint reader.

The feature is OPTIONAL -  that means not every computer comes with the feature installed in the hardware.

If your computer does not have a fingerprint reader, the little box is just a same-colored cover plate where the sensor would be located.

There must be a Biometric devices section with a reader listed.

Control Panel > icon view > Device Manager

Tab View

Check Show hidden devices

Select Devices by Type

Open Biometric devices
