Hi Paul, first I want to thank you for the help. I installed the drivers that all went good but it still doesnt show any drives when I try to install windows. I tried 3 different SSDs and I tried a HDD. The SSD had known OS already installed on them and i tried with a fresh SSD. nothing seems to work. I tried reinstalling the Bios from a flash drive successful. and then tried to reinstall everything again. I went into the Bios to UEFI HII CONFIGURATION it shows INTEL(R) Rapid Storage Technology Intel (R) 18.1.1.5201 RST VMD DRIVERS INSTALLED it says No disksconnected to the system, I am at a real loss I tried everything I know nothing Thanx

I have zipped up and attached below, the Intel storage controller drivers that I hope work for Windows to find the hard drive.
Copy the 5 files from the F6/VMD/f6vmdflpy-x64 folder to a USB flash drive.
iastorvd.cat
iastorvd.inf
iastorvd.sys
rstmweventlogmsg.dll
rstmwservice.exe
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the W11 installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
Click Next and if those are the right drivers Windows should find the drive and install.

You're very welcome.
Sorry that didn't work.
The only other suggestion I can offer would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with the PC.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Microsoft Store Apps
Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter the notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.
The problem is the product number you posted is for several individual notebooks in the 17-c0000 model series as you can see from the parts list below:
Enter your notebook's serial number in the search box at the link below, and it should provide the specific product number for your specific model notebook.
Once you determine the 'real' product number for your notebook, you enter that as well as the #ABA in the cloud recovery tool's search window.
For example: 4N5F2UA#ABA

Again I want to thank you for your help. I tried the Cloud Recovery Tool and it didn;t work. So here is where i am it now. I bought this laptop from ebay that was Bios locked. I reinstalled the BIOS using a flash drive and it removed the lock I thought; So after going through all of this I got the laptop out last night and was going to try and work on it again. It has a SSD and a SATA SSD installed. It is booting to the OS from the SATA but when i try and boot it from the SSD it wants a BIOS password. how can it boot from one drive and not the other drive. I am wanting to just leave it be and sell it with just the SATA drive installed but my curiosity wont let me. amy ideals
