@Skjani, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
That message is a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on a Windows PC. It usually indicates a critical system error that forced Windows to stop running to prevent damage. Here's what you can do:
Wait for Restart: Windows should restart automatically after collecting info.
Check for Stop Code: If you catch the error code before it restarts, note it down. If not:
Go to Event Viewer (Win + X > Event Viewer)
Check Windows Logs > System for critical error entries around the time of the crash.
Update Drivers: Outdated or corrupt drivers are a common cause.
Open Device Manager
Right-click and update your main drivers: graphics, chipset, network, etc.
Run System Checks:
Open Command Prompt as Admin and run: sfc /scannow
And then: chkdsk /f
Check for Windows Updates:
Go to Settings > Windows Update, install any pending updates.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
