Hey guys!

So we tried to make my (old) notebook faster and upgraded the BIOS to F.19 to realize that nothing works on there (doesn't recognize the hardware components), because it's just not compatible (product 4PR63EA, Windows 11). Before it was F.14 as far as I know. On the HP website I only get bins that don't work - I researched that I need 084DB.bin to downgrade again but I only get 084DA.bin online. Can anyone help me with this issue?

@Kijati, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I recommend visiting the official HP support website to download the specific BIOS version you need for your device. Make sure to enter your product number (4PR63EA) to get the correct firmware options.

Also, I suggest installing the HP Support Assistant — it can help detect your notebook model, check compatibility, and manage firmware updates.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
