Microsoft Windows 11

System runs slow and shows the Disk usage at 100% in Task Manager.  Tried all online recommendations.  still at 100%

12Gb Memory

I-5 Processor

930GB ATA drive

Your machine is a above average machine, looks likes you start a lot of apps with Windows therefore machine has to swap out to slow HDD and make it busy.

 

You can re-install Windows 11, this should help. Please use the following to download ISO file

 

           https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

Mount ISO file as a DVD and run Setup.

 

         mount.png

 

Please tick Keep all users files/data and programs (default) otherwise it will clear them all.

according to the product sheet, the computer must be original with windows 10
you do not say if you already had this problem
If you have upgraded from windows 11 with windows update, if compatible, or if you have forced the upgrade
A problem of this type could also be material, in this case reinstalling new windows 11 could only be a temporary solution!

you can at least check if not a problem of this type, before reinstalling
