After initial bootup and Win 10 upgrade to 1703 I got the message "accelerometerDLL.dll missing." Looking that up I discovered this item which suggestted that re-installing this software http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71714.exe would fix this issue.
After sp71714 installation I get the message:
"the HP 3D DriveGuard driver cannot install, the Accelerometer hardware is not present or not supported on this unit."
I checked the device specifications in HP Envy x360 m6 Convertible PC (model numbers m6 through aq0XX) - Maintenance and Service Guide and it specifically says that it is present and supported.
Is there a different version of the software that supports this model? I was unable to find it in the downloads section.
