Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.

 

Your warranty is active as of the date you purchased your HP device.

 

You can check your warranty date here >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

It is initially set in the system based on the date your device has been released (a.k.a device date of birth)
