There are two questions:
1) Can I install an SSD instead of an HDD on it ? (i choose Plextor PX-256 M8VC)
2) Is it possible to activate AHCI mode?

Hi:
Yes, you can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
AHCI is set by default, but on notebooks with AMD processors, the AHCI controller is not labeled as such.
The notebook will run perfectly fine with a 2.5" SSD as it is configured.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
