Am trying to figure out where to get a SMC.BIN file? So many different varying and mostly wrong or contradictory (Some answers said HP Support other answers said HP not longer provides the smc.bin file) useless answers on google but I need to get a Bios Admin Password for my HP ProBook 650G1 so I can update the bios and also turn on Visualization. I have tried both the Bios Utility Configuration Tool, that did nothing and the Intel Engine Driver Management program which also was useless to me, am a hack at best lol, but Im not no IT tech also attempted to access and remove the 3206t? large watch shaped battery, hoping to reset the memory, again, another fruitless adventure, hidden screws or release tabs somewhere that couldnt be found to remove the inside protective cover. I dont remember it now but there was 1 password I tried that I found on google when prompted for Admin Password at the Bios entry page, it got me passed the First password after I had entered it 3 times but then I ended up on a page with the most bizarre crookedly shaped looking onscreen keyboard with foreign letters and symbols etc and then got locked out again. Any help getting passed this bios password brickwall would be awesome. I also know that it is no longer any support offered by HP regarding the bios password, so I was informed anyways by the support department.
