After updating my BIOS, my WIFI signal dropped from 5 bars to 2 bars. I have been through all the tests that HP and Microsoft offer with no solution to my problem.

Updating the BIOS can sometimes affect the performance of hardware components, including the WiFi adapter. To resolve the issue of decreased WiFi signal strength, you can try the following solutions:
Reset Network Settings:
- Open Settings on your computer.
- Go to Network & Internet.
- Select Status from the left menu.
- Scroll down and click on Network reset.
- Follow the prompts to reset your network settings.
Update WiFi Driver:
- Go to Device Manager by right-clicking the Start Menu.
- Expand the Network adapters category.
- Right-click your WiFi adapter and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If an update is found, install it and restart your computer.
Check Power Management Settings:
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Network adapters.
- Right-click on your WiFi adapter and select Properties.
- Go to the Power Management tab.
- Uncheck the box that says Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
- Click OK.
