Hi,
I recently bought an HP Envy x360 Convertible and I tried downloading an anti-virus protection that I have a subscription with (Norton). But it would not allow me to download it because there was another one already installed-McAfee Live Safe. This was a plesant surprise-the only thing is I am not sure how long that will last. It does not say whether it's a trial version or not. Has anyone here noticed this about their hp purchase? Can you tell me about your experience with the anti-virus protection and if you eventually had to purchase another one or extend the McAfee?
Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer my question.

What is your Envy x360 Convertible ? Third party software on your machine normally are TRIAL version, you can use for 30, 60 or 90 months then you have to buy.
For Anti virus software, you normally have to pay yearly to get upgates.
Regards.

Thanks! Oh, I forgot to mention it was a laptop. I thought that it may be a trial version it just didn't say so. I wish it would tell me how long I had to use it. If its a trial, won't I receive a reminder when it will begin to expire? I am wondering if I should wait for it to expire or just go ahead and download my own...
