Micrsoft Defender (used to be Windows Defender). Microsoft has come a long way with its embedded AV. Recent AV tests from the 4 major AV testing groups put Defender right up with the leading AV programs. Now, if you want the bells & whistles (nothing wrong with that), then I'm partial to Norton 360. For my usage though, most of the add-ons such as cloud storage space, VPNs, etc. I've already got covered so I'm not going to spend money largely on features that I don't need. Most of the reviews on "Top AV Suites" include deals to save money on the major AV suites...to me that tells me they are not really independent AV reviewers, they get reimbursements for their recommendations. If you have smart browsing and email habits, Defender is all you need.
