Hi @James1177,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Pavilion 15 e076nr Notebook PC!

Since the HP Pavilion 15-e076nr Notebook PC is over 4 years old, it is considered obsolete, and HP no longer provides software or BIOS updates for this model. The last available BIOS version might already be installed on your system.

Could you please share why you’re looking to update the BIOS? Is there a specific concern or issue you’re trying to address?

  • If you're experiencing a problem, understanding more about it might help us suggest an alternative solution.

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hi, @zoey7886

Just because the PC has been retired, doesn't mean the driver/BIOS files don't exist anymore.

Also, the drivers for consumer class notebooks are available for 10 years after the release to market date.

Even though the driver support page has been retired, the drivers are all still there on the FTP website for every HP PC ever made since day one, and I have provided a much newer BIOS update (could even be the final revision) for that model than the one currently installed.

James1177 here. (login issues) Thanks for your help Paul. I do some waiting around when it comes to AI, with the rendering and all. With the software you provided, updated drivers, and a much lighter OS, I can keep the machine out of the scrap yard for a few more months.  Thanks again.

Hi Zoey. James1177 here just having some login issues, so the name is a little different.

It's not a bad PC at all Zoey. It's just slow for the things I would use it for. A software overhaul, Cooler temps, free memory, and less background processes is what will help out here. Thanks Zoey
