Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

About 68% through the Windows 11 upgrade on the HP Elite Dragonfly Notebook (Product No. 9JU42PA#ABG) the “Authenticate to Save/Restore GPT” screen appears.  Using the keyboard on the screen, I entered “1”.  Press the ‘enter’ key and nothing happens.  The screen is frozen.  What needs to be done to progress and complete the installation of Windows 11?  Or to simply unfreeze the “Authenticate..” screen so that the Notebook may be functional again?

Having posted the problem, I touched random keys on the screen keyboard.  I think I touched the ‘Return’ key and immediately the screen went black and the installation continued and is now complete.  For me the touching of the screen keyboard ‘return’ key was almost accidental, since none of the other keys, expect ‘1’, ‘2’, and ‘3’ appeared to be responsive.

Hi - thank you for your answer - what do you mean with "Return key" - do you mean "escape"?

The screen is frozen - nothing happened and can't find any information from HP for help...
