Automatically turn off the touchpad in pavilion 11-n001ew

Hi, i need information form product hp pavilion 11-n001ew (x360). Why bend the screen more than 90 degrees off touchepad? How can I increase the range when the touchpad is running?

I see from the post that you are having issues with the touchpad gets disabled automatically when the screen bends more than 90 degrees. Don't worry I'll do my best to help you with this,

Usually on a x360 PC, touchpad normally works till 90 to 110 degrees, beyond which the touchpad gets disabled. This is nothing but the system is designed in such a way that beyond the upper limit it gets disabled automatically.

I understand that the system automatically turns off the touchpad, but it is possible to change the default settings? At the moment I can not work comfortably at my desk. Angle of view is not the best. In addition, if I take my computer to bed and put it on my lap so that it is tilted (screen in 90%) the touchpad also stops working.

Unfortunately this is not functional. Can microsoft have information on how to change settings?

Hi,

as @Jeet_singh is out of the office today, I'm replying to you. I have read your post comprehensively. 

By design the touchpad should get disabled and we do not recommend making any changes to it because this defeats the purpose of an x360 series HP laptop.

When the laptop is rotated sideways it attempts to switch to tablet mode, even when you have not adjusted the screen angle. The sensing is done by an orientation sensor in the base of the laptop, not in the hinges.

You may check with Microsoft if there is some change that can be make in the Windows operating system but we cannot guarantee of any workaround for this.
