I have been having problems with the B&O play bass/ treble sliders not working. I have done everything I have seen online, but nothing works. I was wondering if there is a bypass or update that needs to be done to the B&O play audio manager.
I contacted B&O for a fix and they said try HP support or conmuity.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I recommend you uninstall the audio driver from device manager and then download and install it from the below link.
https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
Here is how it is done.
- Type "Device Manager" into the search field to open the device manager console.
- Expand the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall, right-click the device entry, and click Uninstall.
- On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK to start the uninstall process.
- When the uninstall process is complete, remove the device.
NOTE: On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click the Delete the driver software for this device option to delete the driver package that was used for the device.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!
Cheers!

that only fixed the main speakers. it did not fix the same problem with the headphone jack. I am an IT trainee and have looked everywhere online. this audio manager from what I can gather is a bad one full of bugs. is there a way that I can get the Realtek hd audio manager that one of my computers uses, (could not find an install file for it online) or a different audio manager that would work with my laptop and its hardware.

Use HPSA to download and install the latest updates on your PC
- In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
Also, Check the headphone jack for any dust accumulation or try with an alternate headphone.
Alternatively, run a hardware test on the headphone jack using the below steps:
-
Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
-
Turn on the computer and immediately press the F2 key repeatedly, about once every second.
-
The HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu is displayed.
- Select Component tests > Audio
- The Audio Playback Test checks your system to make sure the audio device is functioning properly. During the test, a few music notes are played in sequence and then repeated. This test takes 1 minute to complete. Click Audio, then click Run once. Choose either the speakers or headphones. When asked, enter the number of notes you heard.
Keep me posted for further assistance.
