How can I update BIOS of my HP 1000-1116TX Notebook PC? I can't find any information about it on the HP official website. It's Serial number is 5CG22902RY and Product number is C0N29PA#AB2. I want the latest version of its BIOS and various historical versions (it may not be possible to directly update to the latest version). Thanks.

@YN25,

HP no longer provides support for your model as it reached the end of support life, but you can download the latest BIOS file F.46 from the link below.

Thank you very much for your reply. BIOS has been successfully updated.

This BIOS version still does not support UEFI. Do you have a newer version? I saw online discussions about F.49, but they didn't provide a download link. Could you find it?

If your notebook originally came with Windows 7 preinstalled, your model has legacy BIOS and doesn't support UEFI BIOS. BIOS updates don't change the BIOS mode.

Notebooks with UEFI BIOS have a Legacy Support setting which enables/disables legacy BIOS support.

Enter F10 BIOS -> System Configuration -> Boot Options. If you don't see Legacy Support there, your BIOS is legacy BIOS.

All right. Thank you for your reply.
