I installed Ubuntu Linux 24.04 LTS on my HP Spectre x360 - 13-aw0023dx laptop. HP has released an upgrade to the BIOS and I need information and/or instructions on how to upgrade my BIOS on this device. I no longer have a native installation of Windows 11 pro on this computer. Presently running BIOS version F.37 Release Date: 7/29/2024 would like to update to version F.38A.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to use another Windows PC to create a BIOS recovery drive so you can update the BIOS outside of Windows.
Watch these two videos for how to do create and use the BIOS recovery flash drive:
How to create a BIOS recovery drive with the above BIOS file.

How to recover your notebook's BIOS with the recovery drive:

BTW...all HP BIOS updates end in an 'A'.
You will end up with F.38, not F.38A.
